The Unspoiled Island of La Graciosa

La Graciosa, Islas Canarias. The island of La Graciosa is in the Atlantic Ocean on the northeastern side of the Canary Islands. La Graciosa belongs geologically to an assembly of small islands emerged off the sea in the North of Lanzarote, known as "Archipielago Chinijo" and is also composed by the islands of Alegranza and Clear Mountain and the east Roque islands and Roque of the west. With its 27 square kilometers, it is the biggest and only inhabited of this assembly declared a Natural Park and Marine Reserve of Fishing. La Graciosa has two villages that go by the name of La Caleta del Sebo and Pedro Beard, of which only one is inhabited all year round. The access to the island, can be carried out by boat which only departs from the neighbor island of Lanzarote. La Graciosa is of great interest for scientists not alone by its volcanoes and landscapes, but by its enormous wealth in biological species and marine species that are almost extinct. Giving an impressive beauty of its volcanic landscapes sprinkled by sand dunes, long white beaches and with a sunny climate the majority of the Year. La Caleta del Sebo is the capital of the island that counts on 500 inhabitants mainly dedicated to fishing, with white houses and streets of sand. La Graciosa, volcanic surroundings and blue lagoons will have you thinking if you should go back home.

Day 1: The island of La Graciosa is only accessible by boat. We will meet in a decided location on the Island of Lanzarote and from there we will take a boat to La Graciosa, which takes about 20 minutes. Once on the island, there is a pension that goes by the name of Pension Girasol. The Pension is only ten minutes away from a great spot for Kiteboarding, the wind blows side shore and the water is flat and safe. We will have all day to kiteboard and enjoy life!

Day 2: Just across from La Graciosa, on the Island of Lanzarote there is a private beach only accessible by boat or 4x4. Kiteboarding School of Fuerteventura will take you kiteboarding across to this beach so that you can enjoy the privacy and un-spoilt beauty of the place, with lunch at the spot.

Day 3: We will take you abroad an eight-meter sailing boat and cruise around the island of La Graciosa to find more spots to ride.

Day 4: You will have all day to Kiteboard and to do other activities, but save your energy for the night, as there will be a moonlight sail and party on the boat.

Day 5: We will make our journey back to Lanzarote.
